Under The Lights

Under The Lights

Narrative • Drama • USA • 2025
108 Minutes

Synopsis: Sam is a teenager living with epilepsy, a condition that constantly sets him apart from his peers and forces him to navigate life with caution. Longing for a sense of normalcy, he fixates on a seemingly simple milestone: attending prom. But beneath the glow of the dance floor lies a dangerous reality—the flashing lights that define the night could trigger a life-threatening seizure.

As prom approaches, Sam must confront not only the physical risks of his condition but also the emotional weight of isolation, fear, and the desire to belong. With the support of those closest to him—and his own growing determination—he is forced to decide how much he’s willing to risk for one night of freedom.

Under The Lights is a coming-of-age story about identity, courage, and the universal need to feel seen, even in the face of uncertainty.

This film features flashing lights.
